Banana Blueberry Oats Muffins

This is my favourite muffin because it has all my favourite ingredients- banana, blueberry and oats❤

In addition to my favourite, it is also an easy, juicy, tasty and moist one to make at home. The making of this muffin doesn’t require much vigorous whisk. A gentle mix is enough. Just combine the wet ingredients with the dry one’s. That’s enough!!

It is always good to use ripe bananas to make good moist muffins. I had 3 ripened one’s at home. They were smelling very good for the past two days. Muffins out of them is the best idea!!

Blueberries which we bought this weekend added to the recipe. As I said in my other recipe, I will try to add oats to most of the dishes I make. And it works well!! You can also mash one-fourth of blueberries with the backside of spoon and add them too.

Muffins are perfect for breakfast and evening snack.

  • Ripe bananas- 3
  • Blueberry- 1 cup
  • Oats- 1/2 cup
  • All-purpose flour- 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil- 1/3rd cup
  • Brown sugar- 1/2 cup
  • Egg- 1
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Baking soda- 1 tsp
  • Salt- 1/4th tsp
  • Vanilla essence- 1 tsp.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Mash bananas to smooth with the backside of the spoon.
Add 1 egg and mix it with banana with a whisk. Just a gentle mix is fine throughout the making process.
Pour the vegetable oil and mix everything together.
Add the vanilla essence.
Add the brown sugar and mix everything together.
Next is the oats and mix everything together.
Now sieve the dry ingredients- baking powder, baking soda, salt, all-purpose flour.

Just mix everything gently till combined.
Add 1 cup of blueberries now and mix everything together.
The batter is now ready.
Keep the muffin tray ready. Muffin liners are must for this recipe.
Full three-fourth with the batter.
Keep it in the preheated oven. Keep the temperature at 200 degrees and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or till the top gets brown enough or till the tooth pick comes out dry.
Muffins are ready.
Let it come to normal room temperature.
