Banana Strawberry Oats pancake

If you are looking for a pretty breakfast which is quite filling and healthy at the same time, this is the recipe!! Just go for it!!

This is very easy to make in the morning with very limited ingredients. It takes just 5 minutes to make it if you have all the ingredients ready to go.

I have to talk about the combination of bananas and strawberries. Not only the texture, they both taste so good when combined together.

It is always good to use ripened bananas as it adds good taste and makes the pancakes very soft. I haven’t used any extra sugar as we are adding three ripened big bananas.

I have used oats for these pancakes as I have said about my preference to include it in any recipe and it works well too. These pancakes are very soft.

These can be made as banana pancakes alone if you don’t have strawberries.

It tastes so good without any toppings but any kind of syrup, sauce, powdered sugar, spread etc.., adds extra taste to it🍓🍌🥞

INGREDIENTS

Approximately 10 pancakes can be made with below quantity.

  • Ripened banana- 3
  • Eggs- 2
  • Strawberry- 3 to 4 ( sliced lengthwise)
  • Oats- 1 cup
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Salt- 1/4th tsp
  • Cinnamon powder- 1 tsp ( optional).

PROCEDURE

Grind the oats into powder in a mixer.
Chop the bananas and add all the ingredients except strawberries to the powdered oats in a mixer or blender. Grind them to smooth without adding water.
The batter is now ready.
Heat 1 tbsp of butter in an iron cast pan or in a non-stick pan. Once it is hot, keep the flame in low to medium.
Add a scoop of batter now and let it cook in low to medium flame. Bubbles are formed in the edges when it is ready to be flipped the other side.
Now keep the sliced strawberries on top with care. Leave it for some seconds. Flipping the other side should be done with extra care.
Let it get cooked the other side too. Move it to the plate once cooked. Repeat the process now.

TIPS

  • Inbetween each pancake, rub the pan with a kitchen towel as the strawberries leave little juice which sticks to the surface of the pan. Then add the butter and repeat the process.
