Blueberry Banana Smoothie

Blueberry and banana are superfoods that help you and your family with many health benefits and stay out of many infection and diseases.

Smoothie is something very energetic to begin the day with or anytime booster during the day and especially this blueberry banana smoothie is a complete pack to begin the day with!!

Both blueberries and bananas are rich in antioxidants, potassium and they help to keep you healthy.

Bananas are high in energy with it’s own sweetness. They are good source of potassium, protein, Vitamin A, phosphorus. They help to control heart rate, reduce blood pressure and to reduce the stress.

Blueberries are really a powerful little fruit. Due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, it helps to treat heart disease, memory loss and cancer. They are rich in Vitamin C.

The below quantity makes one big cup

  • Blueberries- 3/4th cup ( 1 full cup is also good)
  • Ripened banana- 1
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Ice cubes- 1 cup ( optional)


Clean the blueberries well.

Take a mixer or blender and add blueberries, banana, milk, yogurt, sugar. If adding ice cubes, add it now. Blend everything together to smooth.


  • Frozen blueberries and bananas can be used for best results.
  • Fresh smoothies tastes good always.
