Fried rice is nothing but a stir-fried cooked rice in a wok, large pan or in a skillet and is usually mixed with ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, seafood or meat.
Today let us check the recipe of fried rice done with pork in Chinese style of making. Pork fried rice is my favourite❤ Whenever I go to any Chinese restaurants or get a take away from there, I just order pork fried rice first.
Go for a good quality pork and we get the best here in Denmark. Remove the excess fat portion from the pork. We are going to start by sauting the pork separate first with soy and tomato sauce which gives it a good color. Go for Chinese soy sauce for good flavor.
I have used long grain jasmine rice for this recipe. Mostly all the Chinese restaurants use jasmine rice. It adds good flavor to the dish. I have used the rice from the previous day. Though rice cooked on the same day can be used, previous day cooked rice gives best result. You can also use basmati rice if you do not have jasmine rice.
Pork fried rice is very simple to make and it takes very less time. This recipe gives you the restaurant-style of making it. The left out can be stored in refrigerator and reheated the next day too.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup= 200 ml.

- Pork- 300 gms. ( diced)
- Cooked Jasmine Rice- 4 cups
- Eggs- 3
- Onion- 1 medium sized ( diced)
- Carrot- 1/4th cup
- Green peas- 1/4th cup
- Garlic- 4 cloves ( finely chopped)
- Soy Sauce- 4 tbsp
- Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
- Spring onion- 3 scallions ( finely chopped)
- Pepper powder- 1/4th tsp plus a little.
- Sesame oil- 1 tbsp
- Salt- as needed.
PROCEDURE
Keep all the ingredients ready before starting. Once pork is ready, next steps take less time. So keep everything ready chopped.
