Dates are highly nutritious. They are good source of antioxidants that helps to reduce the risk of several diseases.
They are rich in fiber and they help to control blood sugar level. Eating dates help to improve brain health.
Dates help to improve digestion, promote healthy skin and also improves bone health. They are rich in iron. It is very helpful for people suffering from anaemia. It strengthens nervous system too.
On the other hand, almonds also have lots of healthy fats, protein, fiber and Vitamin E.
So both mixed together is a healthy combo!!

INGREDIENTS

For 2 tall glasses:
- Almonds- 12
- Dates- 12
- Milk- 2 cups (1 cup= 200 ml.)
PROCEDURE
Soak the almonds overnight and remove the skin from it. Soaked almonds contain Vitamin B17 and folic acid that are vital for fighting cancer and reducing birth defects. I removed the skin because the skin has tannin acid which inhibits the nutrients.
Soak the dates for 30 minutes in hot water. Remove the seeds before soaking.
Make the almonds and dates into smooth fine paste separate. For the dates, I used the warm water which we used for soaking, to grind.
No sugar is required because dates are natural sweeteners.
Add two glasses of milk and blend them all together.
Sieve it once before serving.
Enjoy!!
