Limeade is a lime flavored drink which is sweetened by adding sugar. Normally sugar syrup or honey syrup is prepared, combined with lime juice and additional water is added.

The recipe shared below is the perfect combination of sweetness and tanginess. The sugar used can always be increased or decreased. Sugar can be substituted with honey too. I have used brown sugar.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup = 200 ml.

- Lime Juice- 3/4th cup
- Sugar- 3/4th cup
- Water- 1/2 cup
- Water- 5 cups.
PROCEDURE
Squeeze the juice from limes to make 3/4th cup. Discard the seeds if any. Refrigerate them.










TIPS
- Instead of sugar, honey can be added to hot water to make limeade.
- Serve it chilled. Add ice cubes before serving.
- It can be prepared and stored in refrigerator to use it the next day.
- You can always increase or decrease the quantity of sugar. The measurement in the ingredients is accurate.
