Broth is a savory liquid made of water which is simmered with bones, meat and vegetables. Let’s see about the vegetable broth today.
Vegetable broth can be prepared quick and easy at home. It doesn’t take much time. Most of us don’t prepare them because it is available easily in shops.
When I started to make it at home, I came to know it is very easy to make and it is healthy too!! We can avoid preservatives used. It can stored in refrigerator for 4 to 5 days in an airtight container.
The main aim behind this recipe is to bring good flavor to the liquid by adding vegetables and the spices which are good at it.
Vegetables like onions, carrot, celery, mushrooms can be used. Garlic, pepper, thyme, mint leaves, parsley, coriander leaves which will add flavor to the liquid can be used too. Frozen vegetables can also be used.
Avoid vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts etc.., which will give slightly bad flavor to the broth.
Vegetable broth can be consumed alone but it is most commonly used in soups, pasta, gravies, sauces etc…,
