Caramel Chip Wheat Flour Waffles

A waffle is a dish made from leavened batter that is cooked inbetween two plates that are patterned to give a characteristic size, shape and surface impression. The place of origin to it is France and Belgium.

Nowadays, we get waffles everywhere and it has become very common now. Making it at home is very simple just like making pancakes as it takes only 30 minutes for the entire process. It is perfect for lazy mornings!!

My kids love these waffles and my daughter used to be in my back to make it at home always. This time, I wanted to try it with wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour and the caramel chips can be replaced with chocolate chips anytime.

The batter can be prepared and stored in the refrigerator for upto 5 days. The waffles can be made and stored in freezer too. It can be reheated in microwave before consuming.

Generally waffles taste good with ice-cream, any flavored syrup, whipped cream, nutella, powdered sugar etc.., These waffles has it’s own sweetness due to the caramel chips added to it.
